ROYAL JUBILEE
A display celebrating the Platinum Jubilee
Looks at the celebrations of the Coronation in Baldock in 1953 with many interesting pictures and descriptions of the events and a newspaper account. For comparison there are descriptions and pictures of Baldock’s 1937 coronation events and earlier royal celebrations including copies of posters for Queen Victoria’s Golden Jubilee and several artefacts.
